A Busy Spring, But Still Moving Forward - March 2026 at Praxo Studio
Hey there!
We skipped the February newsletter. Family events piled up. So today, we’re sharing our February and March updates all at once.
Duit Widget Bug Fix
There was an issue where editing a todo in the app wouldn’t immediately update the widget. This had been mentioned in reviews a few times, so we fixed it. Now when you edit in the app, the widget updates right away.
It’s not a big update, but fixing something that users directly pointed out feels pretty rewarding.
A Busy Spring at Our Day Jobs
Both of us were quite busy with our day jobs in February and March. The developer had little free time with a work project in full swing, and the designer has been in the middle of moving.
Then we heard that the work project we’d been grinding on might be heading in a completely different direction. Honestly, it was a bit deflating. Months of focus, and then the ground shifts. If you’ve ever worked a corporate job, you probably know the feeling.
Neither day jobs nor side projects go the way you plan. That’s just how it is.
Markdown Note App, Bit by Bit
The markdown note app we previewed in January is coming along slowly. Working on it whenever there’s time on weekends. Not fast, but we haven’t stopped.
The designer’s wedding planning app will pick back up once the move is settled. It’s a busy spring for both of us, but we’re still moving.
Being a Developer in the Age of AI
We say this every time, but AI keeps advancing day by day.
As developers, we’re arguably on the front lines of AI’s impact, so we feel it firsthand. Just last year we were thinking “what will things look like in 5 years?” Now, we honestly can’t even picture what things will be like in just one year.
Layoff news keeps coming from Silicon Valley, and we wouldn’t be surprised if a similar wave hits the Korean tech industry soon. As side project builders, it’s true that AI is what makes it possible for just two of us to ship apps. But at the same time, it makes us think about the future of our day jobs too.
The funny thing is, more than anxiety, what we feel is curiosity. What will the world really look like a year from now? Will the act of coding itself be completely different? Or will things be more or less the same?
Nobody has the answer. But being in the middle of the change and experiencing it firsthand—that feels like the best thing we can do right now.
See you in April!
