Looking for Indie Developer Friends: Praxo Studio's Six-Month Review

Hi team!

This is Praxo Studio.
It’s been about six months since we started Praxo.

Being a team of two means we’re not too lonely, but still, we sometimes want to meet other startups or indie developers. We’re curious about so many things.

  • What’s your development speed like?
We have day jobs, so we develop after work or on weekends. With AI’s help, we can build a web service in 2-3 days if we’re quick, but apps take a bit longer. When work gets busy, sometimes we barely add one feature a month.

  • How do you make decisions?
The developer (me) and the designer (my friend) discuss things over KakaoTalk, and most decisions are made quickly. Having fewer people means faster decisions—that’s our advantage. Of course, online-only communication has its limits, so we meet offline about once every two weeks. We live close to each other.

  • Have you applied for government programs?
Government programs usually open at the beginning of the year, but when we started this project, February was already passing by, so we put it on hold. We might try in 2026, but nothing’s set in stone. The paperwork seems quite demanding.

  • Any struggles?
None of our friends are indie developers, so we went through a lot of hardships when we first launched our app. Made plenty of mistakes and wasted effort along the way.

If you're reading this and running a startup or doing indie development, feel free to reach out anytime!

Oh, we released another app in the meantime.
Duit Lite - A simplified version of Duit, a super simple todo app with no login required.

Chuseok holiday is coming up soon—hope everyone has a wonderful time!
See you next month!
