We released a slow app

It’s vacation season these days.
Are you happy if you’re on vacation?

I’m sure if office workers had summer/winter vacations, the resignation and burnout rates would decrease by more than 50%.

Anyway,
This time too, as a working person, I utilized my time outside of work to release an app.
Just today!!!!!!!!!
Perfect timing, right?

Its name, Soom!

The app Soom that we developed this time is a real-time fine dust app.

Pretty simple, right?
And cute, right?
That cloud was made by my designer friend!

The functionality is also just “real-time fine dust” so it’s simple to use too.
Oh, there’s no widget yet!

If you’re curious about the development backstory

The thing that gave me the most trouble during development this time was “location.”
I thought it would be easy since it’s an app without login… but getting the user’s location was really tricky.

Actually, it takes about 0.1 to 5 seconds to get the location now.
I kept dragging my feet trying to figure out a solution because of this unbelievable time difference…

“At this rate, we might not be able to release our app”

So I just released it😅

Now for the rest of summer,

The real heat is starting again.
I’m going on a week-long summer vacation next month.😎 Clear my head a bit.. think about new items.. (though I’ve already started)
